I was born in Burma, raised in Hong Kong and had spent a number of years in England to further my education. In the mid seventies, I migrated to Canada.

As a young adult living in Hong Kong, I was involved in creative writing, translation of poetry into Chinese language, and self-publishing with friends from our writers’ club.
